Pure Hazelwood Necklaces for Baby

Hazelwood is rich in active compounds known for their multiple proprieties, such as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory substances.
The study of the mechanism of action of hazel wood jewelry shows that the wood releases active compounds when in contact with the skin.
Hazel wood acts as an antioxidant and natural anti-inflammatory.

Hazel wood brings a relief but does not cure the problem.
You will have to get another necklace or bracelet once it has reached its full potential.

When can my baby start wearing a hazelwood necklace?
It is at the parent’s discretion. The hazel wood necklace is effective in relieving teething pain in infants.
If your child suffers from bad digestion, diaper rash or skin irritations, it will also soothe these symptoms.
So, as soon as you feel that your baby would benefit from wearing the necklace, it is possible to do so.
That being said, we would like to remind that you must provide constant monitoring when a child under 3 years of age wears any necklace.
You must ensure that the child cannot bring the necklace to his/her mouth by choosing an adequate size.
Ideally, you should be able to insert two fingers between the child’s neck and his/her necklace.
At night, many parents prefer to wrap the necklace around the child’s ankle and cover it with a sock or footed pajamas.
This way, the child cannot reach it and it remains in contact with the skin.

Is it safe?
Yes, it is. Our clasp has been specially chosen for the safety of young children.
If the necklace remains stuck, for instance in a blanket, the clasp will open.
The thread will not break, it’s really the clasp that breaks open. Moreover, we clamp the necklace twice on both ends.

*This security is valid on a necklace changed every 3 months.
To ensure maximum efficiency and safety, it is very important to renew the necklace every 3 months.

WARNING: The parent must provide constant monitoring when a child under 3 years of age wears any necklace. Do not put in mouth.

When the necklace is subject to movement, in contact with water and with air, the nylon covered metal thread will suffer from normal wear and lose some resistance. By renewing the necklace, you will avoid the breakage of the thread or wearing a necklace that has lost its proprieties.

When will I see improvement in symptoms?
This varies greatly from one person to another. Some people told us that they felt a relief after trying our products for a single day; for others, it can range from 2 to 4 weeks.
The type and severity of symptoms seems to influence the time required to feel a decrease of your pain.
Be patient and wear your Pure Hazelwood product regularly and in contact with your skin at all times.

How will I know when my necklace is no longer working?
First, you will notice the symptoms returning. You will also see that the extremities of the wood beads have darkened.
You will then need to get a new necklace or bracelet because at this stage, it will have reached its full potential.
Many testimonials show that this can differ from one person to another, depending on the severity of symptoms.
The necklace or bracelet has a general lifespan of 3 to 6 months.

Is it normal for my necklace/bracelet to lose some bark?
Because we use the hazel wood in its natural state (no varnish is applied), we cannot control all its mechanical properties and its responses to various external factors to witch it is submitted (friction of the clothing, bath, etc.)
Sometimes, the bark can crack and fall off slightly.
This does not alter the effectiveness of the product as the wood also contains active compounds when in contact with the skin.

Can I wear the necklace despite my allergy to metal clasps used on jewelry?
Our screw clasps are made of brass and our lobster claw clasps are made of zinc, and both may contain nickel plating.
If you have known reactions to these metals, you can cover the clasp with a few coats of clear nail polish or with a small piece of tape.
